  I’ve got my DVD and love it! CAN’T WAIT to hear all the new songs! Also, just want the band to know that I got personalized license plates: NUISNCE…no kidding. I’ll be bringing them to the next show and waving them over my head in hopes that it will finally convince you to PLAY THAT SONG! Love you guys!!!

Yes, the venue you played turns off the AC to sell more beer (assholes), and yes, it’s like an oven in the summer, but I miss you. Big time. And I’m a (female) fan over the age of 25, which is rare.   The new DVD is great. Can’t wait to hear the new cd when you guys get it out. I already love “Don’t Call”, so thanks for a taste of the new stuff. I really hope you guys come to New Orleans when you tour, we could use some fun. The hurricane kicked everything to hell down here, but we’re fixing it day by day.   I have to share this with you: I have a 6 year old daughter whom listens to your music as loud as she can in the car on the way to and from school. This morning she was belting out “he wants me back” and “DHC tonight” with her crystal encrusted 50’s style sunglasses on and as i watched in the rearview mirror I thought to myself (if they could only see this) I just thought I would share that there is a 6 year old blonde that has yet to see you live but loves you as much as her mom does.   Huge fan for years after buying Honey, I’m Homely and then Lockjaw and really pleased to get a DVD!! That’s awesome… I had never actually seen you guys play or much in the music press so it was nice to put faces to the words and hear some other tracks, I really need to get the rest of the albums…. The new songs sound great please keep it up and get your asses touring and hopefully get over to the Reading festival someday, you guys would rock it… NOFX were brilliant last year….

  My girlfriend ,who is by far your biggest fan,who happens to be featured very prominently in your dvd at the H.O.B show,(thank you very much) introduced me to you guys last year and I’m aching for a show..I’ve seen that dvd at least thirty times in the last 6 months.. how bout something live and local,the H.O.B., the Fonda, the Wiltern, Pershing Square in downtown L.A….anything..we miss u guys…

  If DHC went to Antartic, there’s nothing wrong about DHC coming to BRAZIL.
  Come on, there’s a lot of people here that realy loves your sound but here in Rio de Janeiro ( Brazil) is very hard to find any DHC material.

  I dont speak english very well, but your sound inspires me to go surf everyday,

  I am Ben from France. I discovered the band like one year ago and im totally addicted since then. I am also totally in love with Elyse, but dont pay attention to that, thats just a moron comment i had to make.
  Anyway, thats very sad to think ill never have the chance to see you on stage… or will I? How about you all sell your cars, maybe your houses, why not your 8 track player and the Stewie Wonder record you just bought, so that you get money to come in France? Seems like a pretty good idea to me…think about it

  I work at Best Buy in Torrance Ca. While looking through the music dvd section I nearly had a heart attack! I actually yelled “No F’n Way”customers started to walk away from me. There it was your dvd….haven’t stopped watching it since!!!First time I saw you guys you were playing with “Hepcat,Royal Crown Revue, and Madness” fell in love instantly. You guys are “Bad Ass”!!!!

  I am so glad you guys are getting back together and touring again! It gives me hope that maybe someday I’ll get to see you. I’ve been listening to your music since I was 12 years old…I’m now 25 and I have yet to see you. I actually named my second born after Elyse….I’m not saying that to sound scary! So, that being said, when your done freezing your butts off in the antartic suburbs, think about visiting the midwest….we love you here!

  Problem is, there are people like me who discovered the band in the late 1990’s and we too young to be able to catch a gig. I’m 22 now, and I’ve never see DHC. That’s why you show do nationwide shows. For the young ones!

  Well I’m oblivious.. this is the first time I ever noticed the blog on the main page… Anywho.. late but in earnest… I love the dvd… and the commentary keeps me from losing my mind when im at work doing data entry (which I should be doing now). The idea that you guys had a fight the first time around cracks me up too. I can’t wait to hear some new tunes, considering I managed to get ahold of all of your albums and now cherish them. I would love to see you guys play again up in Boston, or wherever I end up… like just happening to be in hawaii when you played that show on my 21st bday. I was lucky enough to meet you all too, and you’re all great and fun. I wish more bands were more laid back like you. I’ve seen so many people with so much less talent than you with such big ego’s i thought their heads would explode. (I spend too much time at open mic’s.) Anywho.. you guys rock. Keep it cool.

  My problem is very much the same as Jamie’s (# 56). I discovered the DHC on the Short Music for Short People Comp. in 1999 - and I have another problem: I life in Austria, Europe. So the chance to see the DHC live is not really enormous. But I would come to any gig in Europe!

  No updates in over a year. No new studio material in eight years. No tour in nearly as long. Band members scattered across the country. Everyone in separate projects and jobs. It’s time we all quit lying to ourselves; this band is dead. Move on to other things, because Dance Hall Crashers obviously has.
