The website is back!

Welcome to the new and (more importantly) online Dance Hall Crashers website! Too much time passed between taking down the old version and bringing this version online. It’s entirely my fault and I apologize to the fans out there who had no place to look. I apologize equally to the band.

Depending on how soon you come to the site, you may or may not see lots of content. I am bringing the site back online without all of the old content in an effort to get people excited again. I am going to allow fans to submit their own articles, stories, reviews and images to be placed on the site in the near future and make it much more interactive.

As always, you can connect with other DHC fans via our mailing lists. The webmaster email for this site has changed due to spam issues - you can reach me (Brian) at controller (-at-) dancehallcrashers.com. Thanks for checking in and welcome back!

Note from Elyse

Straight from Elyse:

Hey, it has been a long time! We’re doing one U.S. show this year. It’s this Friday, July 16th at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Orange County, CA. I hope you guys can make it. We’re going on EARLY - at 7:30pm. Make sure to get there with plenty of time, otherwise you’ll miss us, we’ll miss you, and sadness will abound. Hope to see all of your familiar faces. It should be a lot of fun. After the show, you can go to the fair next door and throw up your corn dog and cotton candy on the Whipper Zipper - that is if you don’t die from the ride breaking and crashing to the ground while you’re in the cage. Fair rides are so sketchy. That’s half the excitement.

Webmaster email changed

Due to spam, the brian@ and webmaster@ dhc.com email addresses no longer work. I couldn’t take the 1000 spam per day. I’ll be adding a form here soon to get in touch with me instead as well as cleaning up some of the god-awful pop-up advertising.

Karina on new NOFX album

Karina makes a vocal and instrumental cameo on the new NOFX album “War on Errorism”, in stores now. She sings on one track and plays the vibraphone on another according to the liner notes.

It’s Sloooooooow!

Happy 4th of July America! Greg reminds me once again to add some news: Gavin and Jason are moonlighting in a new band called My Fellow Astronauts. Karina guests on the new NUFAN record “Hard Rock Bottom”. Check the Sinead O’Connor song “This is a rebel song”!

Is no news good news?

For those of you who may come frequently, you’ll notice there hasn’t been much news. Things are just quiet though, it’s not that we aren’t paying attention. In fact, to show you how attention-paying we are, we’ll tell you that you can buy DHC merchandise directly at dhc.cinderblock.com right this very second! Go get it!
