New Record, New Site!

We’re proud to welcome you to phase one of the redesign. The Live Record came out yesterday and we figured that the new artwork was worth of a redesign. You’ll notice a few new things like Extreme Fans and DHC merch listed here. We’re working with everyone DHC related to provide everything possible. If you’re adventurous, you can always keep an eye on our Ebay auction monitor.

We’ll be phasing in new features of the site including having the band themselves post info here. In the mean time, GO BUY THE NEW ALBUM! ($13.99)

Vote for DHC (again)

Live 105 in the SF Bay Area has a ‘top 100′ bands contest, if DHC gets in the top 100, they’ll have 10 of their songs played during Labor Day Weekend! Upside for you non-locals? You could win a trip for 2 to see Filter in London! Vote right now! Also, request DHC’s “Beverly Kills” on KROQ @ 800-520-1067!

dhc.vfive.com credits

Since this site originally went online - lots of things have changed. For one, the entire layout and graphics being used, but the site has grown a good following and a huge list of DHC fans around the world. So far the visitors list spans 32 countries, 5 continents, and even a .arpa address. The Dance Hall Crashers have thanked dhc.vfive.com several times, but this is something we’ve done because we love the band and their music.

The entire layout, graphics and maintence has been done by Brian (brian -at- vfive . com) The Lockjaw lyrics were typed up by Rachelle rlorimor@sisna.com and the 1989-1992 lyrics were typed by ‘Mopheus’ (mmac8728@iunlab1.iun.indiana.edu).

Picture credits! I’d like to thank Suzanne from New York for all the great pictures she has mailed and let me scan from New Jersey and New York shows. I’d like to also credit Candy-Riyn who snapped the close-up shots of DHC in Hawaii on the 97 U.S. tour. And I know I owe more of you, so mail me and let me know. Including you, mr. bantha fodder guy?

I also want to thank my company, vFive Digital Services for the space, bandwidth, and time this site has taken up. Thank them by visiting their site and hiring them to do any web design you may need.

Lastly, but definitely not leastly, I’d like to thank Gavin Hammons, the Dance Hall Crashers drummer for being one overall cool guy and extremely helpful in the creation of these pages.

As a sidenote, I created these pages because I couldn’t find a one-stop reliable source of DHC information around the web. I was able to find a myriad of info but it took alot of advanced searching and research across the web to find it. I thought that was an injustice to the great music that the band creates. So - dhc.vfive.com was born, and you’re on it. Enjoy!
